Prayer Shawls Available


The Ministry of Consolation Prayer Shawl Program has Prayer Shawls are available for our community. Shawls may be given to those in need of God’s presence, strength, and blessings. Recipients of shawls may be suffering from an illness, a death, or experiencing a difficult time. Shawls may also be given to a family or individual who may be helped from a tangible demonstration of God’s love.To request a shawl or for more information, please contact the Program facilitator:

Donations of yarn and/or 1 ½ yard of fleece are gratefully accepted.

 

 

The Ministry of Consolation Prayer Shawl Program meetings will be held the first and third Thursdays of each month at St. John Paul II Catholic Church. We welcome all to gather to prayerfully knit, crochet, or sew. No “crafty” experience is needed to help make “No Sew” fleece shawls. Shawls will be given to our parish community members who are ill, grieving or in need of comfort and support. Completed shawls and donated yarn can be dropped off at this time.
